During its first decade, AHS served as a conduit for funding for affordable housing in Georgia.  In 1999 our name was changed to Affordable Housing Solutions, Inc. as we became a direct developer of affordable housing with a focus on projects that target special needs households.

 

As an Atlanta based nonprofit, the geographic focus of our mission was in the southeast until 2009 when we broadened our service area to the continental United States. This was done in order to respond to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ initiative to address the critical need for housing for homeless Veterans.
